What is the secret of "de-cluttering" your home? I have much trouble getting rid of things.?
You could say that donate, eBay, or throwing things away, right? I mean, that's logical. … but when I open the closet and begin sorting, memories return. Each element is paired with a nostalgic event. These items fill holes in my life and lead to better times. Distracts me, remembering my MVP award when I look at my jacket letter, you must dress party, where I thought shock everyone with a skimpy black dress, fishnet stockings and a feather boa, not my kind of dance costumes, my picks topic my shields for our football championship team, the rock band concert t-shirts rock stars long dead, Hypercolor a T-shirt, a vampire cape, a raincoat gloss paint on the haunted house I offered to, a flower of death, when a gentleman chose me as the beautiful princess in medieval times, 100s of action figures / Collectibles, Beanie Babies And .. becomes laughable … I have to de-clutter, so I can stop living in the past. Have you organized your home? How? Help!
The secret is to have three groups: those who definitely want to give away items you definitely want to keep items that you are not completely sure. If in doubt, put it in the pile of questions. Take everything in that stack and store it somewhere for six months. If you are still in storage after six months, get rid of it. Also, take pictures of the things you love, so I always have memories, even when the subject has disappeared!
